The Rheem Universal Side Discharge Heat Pumps course is designed to educate the technician on heat pump systems that utilize inverters and inverter driven compressors. Taking a systems approach, the training covers electronic expansion valves, pressure transducers, and inverter operation. The training delves into the sequence of operations, system installation, components explanations, service procedures, system diagnostics and Universal heat pump applications.

A2L Refrigerant Detection System (RDS) System

Course Description

This class will discuss the installation, application and sequence of operation of RDS as required when installing units using A2L refrigerants.
